Group Privacy Policy

• We, TIS INTEC Group, adhere to the Group Privacy Policy (the “Policy”), which we have prescribed under the TIS INTEC Group Philosophy “OUR PHILOSOPHY”, in order to ensure lawful and proper handling of personal information collected from our clients and stakeholders. We understand the value of personal information, and promote the effective use of personal information.
• We will protect rights and interests of individuals, being fully aware of the importance of personal information protection. In addition, we will live up to the trust and expectations of our clients and stakeholders by using digital technologies to create a variety of products, services and systems through diverse use of personal information.
• TIS INTEC Group companies in Japan and overseas are unified in our efforts to handle, securely manage, and protect personal information received from our clients and stakeholders in conformity with the Group’s global standards, including the following principles, common rules and systems, under the Policy.

Principles of Handling of Personal Information

We will comply with the following principles when handling personal information:
■Lawfulness
We will deepen our understanding of laws and regulations related to privacy and personal information protection that are applicable to our business activities in relevant countries and regions, and will handle personal information in accordance with the Group’s global standards.
■Fairness and transparency
We will keep our clients and stakeholders informed about our handling of their personal information, using clear and plain language, and will handle personal information being conscious of their point of view.
■Purpose limitation
To the greatest extent possible, we will specify the purposes of handling of personal information, and will use personal information only within the scope of use informed to our clients and stakeholders in advance.
■Data minimization
In handling of personal information, we will use only necessary data that is properly relevant to the purposes of handling.
■Accuracy
We will keep accurate and up-to-date details of personal information only to the extent necessary for the purposes of use.
■Storage limitation
We will erase personal information that is no longer necessary to use without delay.
■Integrity and confidentiality
We will prevent leaks and losses of and damage to personal information we handle, and take appropriate and necessary measures to securely manage personal information.

Our Personal Data Protection Measures

TIS INTEC Group companies in Japan and overseas have prescribed the rules on handling of personal information in accordance with the Group’s global standards at Group companies in Japan and overseas under the Policy, comply with laws and regulations of the countries where they are located as well as the respective countries’ and regions’ laws and regulations applicable to our business activities, and lawfully and properly handle personal information received from our clients and stakeholders.
We have established the TIS INTEC Group’s original personal information protection management system, to conduct risk response exercises, carry out education and training programs, and operate the personal information protection management system at individual Group companies under the Policy by sharing information across the Group’s management structure.
We implement security measures at Group companies in Japan and overseas in accordance with the Group’s common information security standards in order to provide timely services that exceed clients’ expectations through broad utilization and protection of personal information with digital technologies under the Group Information Security Policy.

Group Personal Information Protection Framework

TIS INTEC Group has established and operates a management system to respond to the risk of non-compliance with laws and regulations related to personal information protection on a Group-wide basis. In addition, each of the Group companies operates a personal information protection management system in accordance with the Policy.
