Corporate Sustainability Promotion Structure
Led by our chief corporate sustainability officer (President), the Corporate Sustainability Committee identifies issues and lays out the directionality for resolving them. The corporate sustainability promotion officer links both those elements to the relevant departments and reflects them in the solutions to issues laid out in our medium-term management plans and annual plans.
Corporate Sustainability Committee
The Corporate Sustainability Committee identifies trends and discusses sustainability-related issues, while the selection of focal issues and the directionality of our response are indicated by the Board of Directors. The issues selected and the directionality of response are communicated to the executive side primarily via the Management Committee. In accordance therewith, our corporate and business departments plan and promote specific measures, with plans and progress deliberated as appropriate by the Management Committee and overseen by the Board of Directors.
